Treatment for Malaria depends on the type of malaria and its severity, so medicines should only be taken after proper diagnosis and a doctor's prescription. Commonly used antimalarial medicines may include Chloroquine, artemisinin-based combination therapies (ACT), or Primaquine in selected cases. Complete the full course exactly as prescribed. During recovery, Drink plenty of water, ORS, coconut water, soups, and fresh fluids. Eat light, easily digestible foods such as rice, khichdi, dal, curd, fruits, and boiled vegetables. Include protein-rich foods like eggs or pulses for strength. Avoid oily, spicy, alcohol, and very heavy foods until fully recovered. Rest well and avoid dehydration.
