After taking Prolomet XL 25 Tablet, I experience leg swelling and dizziness when standing. What is the cause, and how can I relieve these symptoms?
Dizziness when standing is usually caused by a sudden drop in blood pressure (orthostatic hypotension), which is a common side effect of Prolomet XL 25 Tablet (Metoprolol tartrate). Swelling in your legs may be a side effect or a sign of a more serious heart issue. To relieve dizziness, get up slowly from sitting or lying down, and elevate your legs when resting to reduce swelling. If your symptoms persist, speak to your doctor, as your dose may need to be adjusted.
