You can take cyclosporine either with or without food. The most important rule is consistency: you should take it the exact same way every day (always with meals or always on an empty stomach) to keep the medication levels in your blood stable. If the medicine upsets your stomach, taking it with a light meal can help. Please make sure to avoid eating grapefruit or drinking grapefruit juice while on this medication, as it can affect how the drug is absorbed. Try to space your two daily doses about 12 hours apart.
