It is very common for toddlers to have mild loose stools during a cold or as a reaction to medications like Pyrigesic and Wikoryl. Dark yellow stools are generally normal. Notably, both medications contain paracetamol (acetaminophen), so please ensure you are not accidentally double-dosing her. Keep your little one well-hydrated with plenty of water, breast milk, or oral rehydration solutions (ORS), and offer light foods like bananas or rice. Please consult her pediatrician to review her medication doses and ensure she is recovering safely. Seek immediate care if she becomes very lethargic or develops a high fever.
