Because Mac Rabonik Plus Capsule and Rabonik 40 DSR Capsule contain distinct active drug combinations, they are not the same medication. Mac Rabonik Plus contains rabeprazole + levosulpiride, whereas Rabonik 40 DSR contains rabeprazole + domperidone. Because the formulation and effects are different and your required dosage may change, you should only switch if your doctor specifically recommends it.

There is no known significant interaction between Rabonik Plus and Mycobutol (ethambutol), but keep your doctor informed. For optimal acid management, Rabonik 20 should be used once daily, half an hour before breakfast.
