I have been having a frequent cough for the past 7 days. I took Dabur Honitus, which gave some relief, but I still get a cough 2 to 3 times a day. I also took Azithromycin 500 and Recofast for 3 days. What should I do now?
A cough lasting 7 days with partial relief is often due to a lingering viral infection or throat irritation, even after treatment. Drink warm fluids, do steam inhalation, keep your throat warm, and avoid cold items or dust to help with healing. Stay hydrated, rest well, and avoid taking more medicines on your own unnecessarily. If the cough continues beyond a few more days, worsens, or is with fever or breathing trouble, consult a doctor for proper evaluation and care.
