This condition is usually caused by excess oil production, blocked pores, and bacterial growth on the skin. It is common and can be managed with proper skincare and regular habits. You should wash your face twice daily with a gentle cleanser suitable for oily skin. Avoid harsh soaps as they may worsen oiliness. Use a non-greasy, non-comedogenic moisturiser and sunscreen to help prevent pore blockage. For acne on the body, shower soon after sweating and use over-the-counter gels containing benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid to help reduce pimples. Wear loose cotton clothing to reduce sweating and friction. Do not squeeze or pick the spots, as this may lead to permanent scars. Try to reduce oily and sugary foods and drink plenty of water. If acne is severe or not improving after a few weeks, please consult a dermatologist for prescription treatments. Consistency is important, and results may take several weeks to show improvement.
