About ETORICOXIB+VITAMIN D3

ETORICOXIB+VITAMIN D3 belongs to the group of NSAIDs primarily used to relieve pain. ETORICOXIB+VITAMIN D3 alleviates the pain and swelling that occurs in joints and muscles. ETORICOXIB+VITAMIN D3 is used in the treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and gout. Arthritis is a condition in which the joints are affected as a result of the disintegration and breakdown of the cushioning tissue surrounding the joints. 

ETORICOXIB+VITAMIN D3 contains Etoricoxib and vitamin D3. Etoricoxib works by reducing the levels of inflammatory substances called prostaglandins which are produced at the site of injury and cause inflammation and pain. Vitamin D3 prevents bone loss by regulating calcium levels in the body.

Take ETORICOXIB+VITAMIN D3 as prescribed. In some cases, ETORICOXIB+VITAMIN D3 may cause certain common side effects such as stomach pain, dizziness, headache, fatigue, and flatulence. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if these side effects persist. 

It is advisable to inform the doctor if you are allergic to any of the components of ETORICOXIB+VITAMIN D3. ETORICOXIB+VITAMIN D3 is used to reduce pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and gout. ETORICOXIB+VITAMIN D3 contains Etoricoxib and vitamin D3. Etoricoxib is an inhibitor of an enzyme called cyclooxygenase2 (COX-2). COX-2 is involved in the production of prostaglandins that induce inflammation and pain. By inhibiting COX-2, Etoricoxib inhibits the production of prostaglandins, thereby relieving inflammation and pain. Vitamin D3  (an active form of Vitamin D) is essential in maintaining and promoting bone integrity and health.

Directions for Use

Take ETORICOXIB+VITAMIN D3 exactly as directed by the physician. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew or break it.

Drug-Food Interactions: ETORICOXIB+VITAMIN D3 may interact with ginkgo biloba (a herb).
