About Nimesulide
Nimesulide belongs to the group of medicines called NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs), which are used to relieve pain and inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders, sprains, contusions, and soft tissue rheumatic disorders.
Nimesulide contains Nimesulide which works by inhibiting the effect of chemical messengers known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzymes, thereby blocking the effect of prostaglandins which cause pain and inflammation. Thus, Nimesulide helps in reducing pain and inflammation.
In some cases, you may experience side effects such as application site reactions like itching and skin redness. Please consult your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
