However, taking both co-trimoxazole and the ofloxacin-satranidazole combination together means she is on dual antibiotic/antibacterial therapies. This strong combination can heavily irritate her gut, worsening the vomiting and diarrhea. Ondansetron is helpful to control vomiting. Right now, prioritize hydration by offering Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS) in small, frequent sips. Please consult your pediatrician immediately to review and potentially simplify this medication regimen, as she may not need both antibacterial treatments. Seek urgent care if she becomes extremely lethargic or cannot keep any fluids down.
