I have been experiencing eye problems for the last 6 months, mainly dry eyes and white discharge. I wear spectacles, and my vision is normal. I cannot sit in front of a computer or TV for more than an hour because it causes headaches and severe eye pain. Doctors say it is Dry Eye Syndrome and suggested Omega-3 supplements and anti-allergy medicines, but the problem persists. What else can I do to manage this condition?
Persistent symptoms of Dry Eye Syndrome can sometimes occur due to long screen time, reduced blinking, or environmental factors. In addition to Omega-3 supplements, you can try using preservative-free lubricating eye drops regularly, follow the 20-20-20 rule while using screens (every 20 minutes look 20 feet away for 20 seconds), take frequent breaks, and keep your eyes well hydrated. Using a humidifier and limiting exposure to air conditioning or dust may also help.
