I have been experiencing pain in the lower abdomen for the past three months. I have consulted an MBBS doctor, an MD physician, and a general surgeon. My sonography report was normal, and all doctors have told me it is muscular pain. I used to walk 6 km daily before this pain started, and I believe it may be due to my brisk walking. I am very worried as the pain is still continuing. Could you please advise what I should do and how I can get relief from this muscular pain?
If scans are normal, it is likely abdominal muscle strain from brisk walking. Reduce activity for a few weeks, apply warm compress, do gentle stretching, and consider short-term physiotherapy. Most muscular pain improves gradually with rest and care.
