Your values (direct 0.7 and indirect 0.6) are slightly above the typical range in many labs, but this mild increase is often not serious, especially if you do not have symptoms like yellowing of eyes, dark urine, or severe fatigue. A small rise like this can be caused by minor liver stress, a recent illness, dehydration, certain foods, or even lab variation. It does not always indicate a serious liver problem. What matters is whether other liver tests (like SGPT, SGOT, and ALP) are normal and whether you have any symptoms. At this stage, you usually do not need to worry, but it is a good idea to repeat the test later and review the results with your doctor. Stay well hydrated, avoid alcohol, and limit oily or heavy food for a few days. If you develop symptoms such as yellowing of the eyes, abdominal pain, or if levels increase further, a proper evaluation will be needed.
