Can my wife consume a lot of milk after having an ERCP and GB stone surgery?
If your wife does not have bloating, nausea, or loose stools following an ERCP and gallbladder stone surgery, she can often consume milk in moderation. Since heavy or fatty dairy products can occasionally cause indigestion following gallbladder surgery, it is usually preferable to start with small amounts of low-fat or toned milk and light foods. Promote eating simple, low-fat meals, drinking plenty of water, and gradually returning to a regular diet. Get in touch with the surgeon or physician if she experiences severe stomach discomfort, vomiting, fever, or persistent diarrhoea.
