It is understandable to be concerned, but your child can recover safely with the right guidance. Since the diarrhoea has lasted a week and fever has now developed, a stool test and routine blood tests are recommended at this stage to target the exact cause. Regarding her medications, using two strong antimicrobials (colistin and ofloxacin-ornidazole) together is redundant and generally unsafe. However, continuing paracetamol for her fever, the probiotic, and oral rehydration salts (ORS) is safe and vital. Please consult a paediatrician immediately to review her symptoms and safely streamline her treatment.
