Is Ziprowin Capsule safe and gentle for an ulcer patient to use?
Ziprowin Capsule contains Ferrous Fumarate, Vitamin B12, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid, and Zinc, which are nutritional supplements primarily used to treat iron deficiency and anaemia. In general, iron tablets like ferrous fumarate can sometimes cause gastric side effects such as acidity, stomach irritation, nausea, or discomfort, which may be more noticeable in people who already have an ulcer. Because of this, it may not always be considered “gentle” for patients with ulcers. Its safety depends on the individual’s ulcer severity, current symptoms, and other medicines being taken. It should ideally be used only if prescribed by a doctor, who can decide whether it is appropriate and may adjust the dose or timing, or add stomach-protective treatment if needed.
