Since you've been advised to avoid steroids, please note that Nasonex (mometasone) is still a corticosteroid, much like the fluticasone in Furamist AZ. While nasal steroids have very low absorption, they can occasionally affect eye pressure. On the other hand, Allegra M (fexofenadine and montelukast) is entirely steroid-free and safe for your eyes. I highly recommend discussing with your eye doctor or allergist to find a completely non-steroidal nasal spray, like azelastine alone, to safely manage your symptoms.
