Is it safe for my wife, who has rheumatoid arthritis (a chronic inflammatory joint condition) and takes Thyrocare 75 mcg, to get the COVID-19 vaccine given her past severe allergic reaction (itchy hives all over her body) to the urinary tract infection medication nitrofurantoin that required steroids and did not respond to Allegra 180, and should we keep steroid medication on hand in case she reacts to the vaccine?
