I have severe itching on the outer side of both my forearms during sunny days. When I scratch the area, some white powder-like material comes out. I also take Losar 50 daily for blood pressure and Atocor 20 on alternate days for cholesterol. What should I do?
Itching on the forearms during sunny days may be related to sun sensitivity or very dry skin. Try to protect your arms from direct sunlight, use a mild moisturising cream regularly, and avoid scratching as it can irritate the skin further. Continue taking your blood pressure and cholesterol medicines as advised. Consult a doctor if the itching continues or becomes severe so the exact cause can be checked.
