It is best not to restart Cefolac oral suspension (Cefixime) unless a doctor has examined your baby, as antibiotics are not always needed for loose motions and may sometimes worsen diarrhoea. You can usually continue giving Z&D DS 20 suspension (Zinc), as it helps with recovery. The most important things are to continue breastfeeding, give plenty of fluids, and watch for signs of dehydration. Please consult your paediatrician if the loose motions persist or worsen.
