I am the mother of a 6-year-old child. During my workout sessions, I feel exhausted while doing leg exercises. I can perform other exercises easily, but squats are very painful for me. What could be the reason?
The pain and exhaustion you experience during squats could be due to several reasons. Squats place significant stress on the muscles and joints of the legs, so weak leg or core muscles, poor exercise technique, muscle tightness, or overtraining can make them more difficult and painful than other exercises. In some cases, underlying conditions such as knee or hip problems, lower back issues, vitamin D deficiency, iron deficiency, or other nutritional deficiencies may also contribute to these symptoms. To improve your symptoms, warm up properly before exercising, use the correct squat technique, increase intensity gradually, and ensure you are getting enough protein, fluids, and rest. If the pain is severe, persists despite proper technique, or is associated with swelling, joint instability or difficulty walking, consult a doctor or physiotherapist. They can identify the underlying cause and recommend appropriate treatment or exercises.
