I have a cough with mucus that is not coming out even after taking Alkof cough syrup. I also took a cetirizine tablet earlier. What should I do?
A cough with mucus may persist if the mucus is thick or if it is due to airway irritation. Drink plenty of warm fluids and do steam inhalation to help loosen the mucus.
