I take Eritel LN 40mg for blood pressure. My diet includes tea, pohe, chapati with bhaji, rice, an apple, and banana. My blood pressure is stable, but I want to reduce the medication. What do you suggest?
Blood pressure medicines should not be reduced on your own even if readings are stable. Focus on weight control, daily brisk walking, reducing salt, limiting tea, and adding more vegetables, fruits, and whole grains; after a few months of consistently normal readings, discuss dose reduction with your doctor.
