I am 50 years old and have had diabetes for the past 15 years. I take Glycomet 250 mg after breakfast and GP 5 tablet before breakfast. My fasting sugar is 134, and after food it is 223. How can I better control my sugar levels?
Your sugar levels suggest that control is not well managed, especially after meals. Review your diet by reducing refined sugar and portion sizes, and including more fibre-rich foods. Regular physical activity, such as daily walking, can help improve glucose control. Take your medicines regularly as prescribed and avoid skipping doses. Consult your doctor to review your treatment plan and adjust your medicines if needed to improve control.
