I’ve been facing sleep issues for one month. I don’t sleep in the afternoon due to work. Even after a stressful day, I am not able to sleep at night. I sleep only 3 to 4 hours and then get a headache during the day. I checked online and offline pharmacies for medicine, but they are not providing anything without a prescription. What should I do?

It is essential to consult a doctor for your sleep concerns so they can properly evaluate the underlying cause, because disturbed sleep for one month with only 3 to 4 hours of rest and daytime headache can happen due to stress, anxiety, irregular sleep pattern, screen exposure, caffeine intake, or other medical conditions, and sleep medicines should not be taken on your own as they need proper assessment and safe dosing, a doctor can identify the exact reason and guide suitable treatment if required, in the meantime try maintaining a fixed sleep and wake time, avoid caffeine and screens in the evening, keep your sleep environment calm and dark, and use relaxation techniques like slow breathing before bedtime, and if symptoms continue it is important to get evaluated to prevent worsening fatigue and headaches.
