I am diabetic and hypertensive. I have been taking Eritel-Trio Tablet for hypertension for four years, but it is no longer effective. Could you suggest another medication for hypertension?
If your blood pressure is no longer controlled, your doctor may adjust the dose or switch to another combination of antihypertensive medications, such as an ARB or ACE inhibitor with a calcium channel blocker, or add a different diuretic. Please do not change medication on your own, as kidney function, electrolytes, and blood sugar must be carefully monitored in people with diabetes before making any changes in treatment.
