What are the effects of sun allergies and vitamin D deficiency?
Sun allergies, also called photosensitivity, usually cause red, itchy rashes or small bumps on the skin exposed to the sun, appearing within minutes to hours. Vitamin D deficiency affects your bones, making them softer, and may lead to muscle aches and fatigue. While one does not cause the other, people with sun allergies may avoid sun exposure and should have their vitamin D levels checked regularly.
