After a night of excessive drinking, I have throat pain, difficulty swallowing, and acidity. What should I do?
After heavy drinking, throat pain, difficulty swallowing, and acidity are usually due to irritation of the throat and stomach acid. Drink plenty of water, avoid alcohol and spicy or acidic foods, and eat soft, bland meals. If pain, difficulty swallowing, or fever persists beyond a couple of days, see a doctor promptly.
