I have sticky clay like stools everyday. No abdominal pain. No diabetes but insignificant heart disease diagnosed vide angiography. I cannot digest oily foods I get oil in my stool. I don't have fever but flatulence and acidity. Please advise?
Your symptoms of sticky, clay-like stools with fat, difficulty digesting oily foods, flatulence, and acidity indicate fat malabsorption, which may be caused by pancreatic insufficiency, liver disease, or bile duct problems. It is important to consult a gastroenterologist for a thorough evaluation, including stool fat analysis, liver and pancreatic function tests, and imaging. Meanwhile, avoid oily foods and maintain a balanced, easily digestible diet, as prolonged fat malabsorption can lead to nutrient deficiencies and other health complications.
