My fasting sugar is under control, but my postprandial levels are not. I take Volix 0.2 mg once, Glimisave M2 Fort twice, and Lantus 22 at night. I had bypass surgery in 2006. What should I do?
If fasting sugar is controlled but post-meal levels are high, the issue is usually meal timing, food choices, or medicine adjustment. Smaller meals, fewer carbs, and walking after meals can help reduce spikes. Your medicines or insulin timing may also need review, especially with a heart surgery history.
