Pain in the frenulum during intercourse is commonly due to a tight or short frenulum (frenulum breve), small tears from friction, or dryness. Repeated strain can make the pain worse after initial insertion. Using adequate lubrication and avoiding forceful movement may help. Knee pain without injury, especially while bending, is often due to strain, early cartilage wear, or patellofemoral pain. Give your knee some rest, avoid squatting and climbing stairs frequently, and apply a cold or warm compress (whichever feels better) 2-3 times daily.
