Hello Doctor, I have been experiencing a recurring scalp issue, especially during the summer season. It usually starts with itching on the scalp, and if it progresses, small painful bumps (boils) appear, sometimes with pus and slight spreading. Last year, I had a similar problem and received an injection, after which it improved. However, this year the symptoms have started again at the early stage (itching). My environment is quite hot, and I tend to sweat more, which seems to trigger the condition. I would like to know: Whether this is scalp folliculitis or a fungal infection Whether using ketoconazole 2% shampoo is sufficient at this stage If I need any lotion or oral medication to prevent it from worsening Kindly advise on the correct treatment and preventive steps. Thank you

Ketocip 2% Shampoo (ketoconazole) can be effective for treating fungal-related scalp issues like dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis, so it may be suitable for your recurring scalp problem.
It’s best to consult a dermatologist before starting Ketocip or any alternative treatment to ensure the right diagnosis and safe use, especially given your recurring symptoms.
Would you like to know more about the correct application and duration of using Ketocip shampoo?
