It is generally safe to start S-Numlo (Amlodipine 2.5 mg) alongside Telma 40 (Telmisartan 40 mg) as prescribed to better control your blood pressure, but monitoring for side effects is important.

🩺 What to Expect with S-Numlo Addition

  • Common side effects of S-Numlo include fatigue, stomach pain, nausea, facial redness, swelling, and irregular heart rate.
  • Telma 40 may cause loose stools, fatigue, nausea, indigestion, or cough, but you have tolerated it well so far.
  • Combining these medications is a common approach to improve blood pressure control when one drug alone is insufficient.

⚠️ When to Seek Medical Advice

  • Watch for new or worsening symptoms such as severe swelling, chest pain, dizziness, or irregular heartbeat.
  • If side effects become bothersome or severe, inform your doctor promptly.

🩺 Recommendations

  • Start S-Numlo as directed by your doctor to help lower your blood pressure closer to target levels.
  • Maintain regular blood pressure monitoring and follow-up visits.
  • Discuss any concerns about side effects with your prescribing doctor, who can adjust treatment if needed.
