Take your acid-reducing medication (Rabeprazole) first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, 30 minutes before breakfast. Since your combination pill (Rifampicin/Isoniazid) is temporarily paused, do not take it. Take your remaining tuberculosis medications (Pyrazinamide and Ethambutol) along with Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) after a meal, like breakfast or lunch, to prevent stomach upset. An SGPT of 149 is only mildly elevated, which is a common and reversible side effect of therapy. Please do not worry. Continue your remaining medications as prescribed, avoid alcohol, and repeat your liver function tests as advised by your doctor to safely plan when to restart your full regimen.
