I am a type 2 diabetes patient with high fasting sugar levels around 175-200 mg/dL and post-lunch levels of 225-288 mg/dL. I am taking Glucobay 50 Tablet, Glimisave 2 Tablet, Trajenta 5 mg Tablet, and Lantus injection at night. What are the possible reasons my blood sugar remains high despite taking these medications?
Your blood sugar may remain high due to an inadequate medication dose or timing, excessive intake of carbohydrates or sugary foods, irregular meal patterns, insulin resistance, lack of exercise, or other underlying health issues such as stress, infections, or thyroid problems. Please consult your doctor to review and adjust your treatment and lifestyle.
