I am taking Sodium Valproate 1.5 g, Levetiracetam 1.5 g, and Clobazam 1 g, yet I still experience seizures about once a week. My MRI and EEG reports are normal, and my doctor keeps increasing the medication doses at each visit. Is there any alternative Ayurvedic treatment for seizures?
Persistent weekly seizures despite normal MRI and EEG findings and the use of adequate doses of Sodium Valproate, Levetiracetam, and Clobazam may indicate drug-resistant (refractory) epilepsy. Ayurvedic treatments are not scientifically proven to effectively control seizures and should not replace standard antiepileptic therapy. You should consult your doctor or a neurologist to reassess your diagnosis, review your current medications, and discuss options like add-on therapy, dose adjustment, or evaluation for epilepsy surgery. Do not stop or change medications without medical supervision.
