Am I at risk of getting fungal infections two months after taking Medrol and a blood thinner to recover from COVID-19?

Two months after finishing your treatment with Medrol (methylprednisolone) and a blood thinner, your risk of developing a fungal infection from these medications is extremely low. While corticosteroids like methylprednisolone can temporarily lower your immune response during treatment, your immune system has likely fully recovered by now. Blood thinners do not increase your risk of fungal infections. Unless you have other ongoing medical conditions or are taking new immunosuppressive drugs, you should not be at heightened risk. If you notice any unusual symptoms, please reach out to your doctor for a quick checkup.
