I am experiencing drowsiness, nausea, lower back pain, and diarrhea. I also feel hungry, but after eating I develop gas and acidity. What could be causing these symptoms?
Your symptoms of drowsiness, nausea, diarrhoea, gas, and acidity after eating may be due to a stomach infection (gastroenteritis), indigestion, or increased acidity, sometimes triggered by irregular meals or certain foods. Diarrhoea and nausea can also make you feel weak and tired, while gas and acidity after eating suggest your stomach may be irritated. For now, eat light, easily digestible foods like rice, curd, banana, and khichdi, drink plenty of fluids or ORS to stay hydrated, and avoid oily, spicy, or outside food. You can take Paracetamol if there is bodyache, and a doctor may prescribe medicines for acidity or probiotics if needed. If symptoms persist beyond 2-3 days, or if you develop fever, dehydration, severe pain, or blood in stools, consult a doctor for proper evaluation and possible tests
