I have been experiencing severe joint pain in both my hands and feet for the past 18 days. I have already taken medicines like Paracetamol, Aceclofenac, Cefadroxil, and Shelcal, and received injections of Monocef, Amikacin, and MVI, but the pain persists. What medicines or further treatment should I take for relief?

The antibiotics you received (Monocef, Amikacin, Cefadroxil) treat bacterial infections, not joint inflammation, which is why your pain persists. Symmetrical joint pain in your hands and feet suggests an inflammatory or autoimmune condition like Rheumatoid Arthritis, or post-viral arthritis (such as Chikungunya). Please stop taking unnecessary antibiotics. You must consult a Rheumatologist or General Physician immediately. I recommend getting blood tests done, including Rheumatoid Factor (RF), Anti-CCP, Uric Acid, ESR, and CRP. For relief, your doctor may prescribe specific anti-inflammatory medications or a short course of steroids. Avoid self-medication.
