I am experiencing stomach pain after undergoing a C-section for childbirth. Is this normal, and how can I manage it?
Mild to moderate stomach pain after a C-section is common and usually due to surgical healing, gas, or muscle strain. You can manage it with rest, gentle movement, and warm compresses on the abdomen. Eat light, easily digestible food and stay hydrated to reduce gas and discomfort. Take only the pain medicines prescribed by your doctor. However, if the pain is severe or worsening, talk to your doctor.
